I would play it since I played all the old base-ball ones. They were intense something about rolling the die that makes it better.

My friends and I played a ton of Avalon Hill's Paydirt back in the day. Also did some Statis Pro Football. I might give a new football boardgame a try.

I hope he gives at least a minor update to FOF this fall though. I think he may be taking a big risk if he doesn't get anything new out until 2014, but if no other game fills the gap in that period I guess it won't matter.

IMO if he had a web based version of FOF he is missing a major oppertunity by ignoring it

I think the product will be better if he puts his heart into it rather than have him force something.

He should give or sell his code to someone who actually cares about the game. You're right, if his heart isn't in it, it'll be junk. On the bright side, at least he admitted how absurd gameplanning is now.
