I hear you, but a 72 yard carry and a 52 yard carry will certainly up that average for the game. lol

Aside from those two plays we contained the whole team and held the ball for like 44 minutes I believe.

Noted, and MrBigglesworth will have your FanClub pack on its way in the mail, complete with Rodrigez undies....
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

You dominated the game for sure. But take away the two big runs, and it's 44 yards on 9 carries, still a very good 4.9 ypc. But yes, on rushes where Rodrigez had less than 3 yards, you held him to a less than 3 ypc.

If my QB could complete a pass to a teammate we might have kept it close enough to get a few more carries for the running game. Or if my defense could stop somebody. Or if my kick returner would stop losing fumbles. We have a lot of holes

I guess you got to have something to be proud of, when you only had the ball for 16:16 for the entire game and you lost 36-14.

Btw, in case anyone thinks I am hating on Pitt's rb, I am not. I just don't want anyone thinking he was getting 9-10 yards everytime he touched the ball. We contained him and their offense aside from 2-3 runs.

I'm on comeback overload, pick your favorite:

                  1) They should invent a stat that shows the average number of yards someone gets when he touches the ball to keep people from getting that kind of false impression.

                  2) I'm sure nobody got that idea, since his ypc was more along the lines of 15.

Just messin' with ya, you killed me, but I hope I get you next year after I have an offseason with the team.

Good thing I lost my starting QB for 4 weeks. The offense was getting a little cocky in practice after the season ending injury to my best defensive player 2 weeks ago.

I always say balance is the key...

Good game Tulsa...I'm beginning to think that 8-8 won't be so bad at least I get a higher first rounder

Hey at least Booker has matured
I think the passing came because you got down early. It seemed once I was up 14-0 your coach got a little flustered. Playing down all game makes teams tend to pass more to catch up.

I was scared Tart was gonna tear me up when he busted that 20 yard run early. Especially given that the run D last game was poor. But we held him down. I think a lot of it had to do with seizing an early lead and keeping it.

Good game, had me scared, especially when you nailed that long TD towards the end...

Tulsa you have a solid team man---I didn't know you were that solid all around. If you play it right you could take the conference IMHO

Here's something strange I just noticed....
Shropshire is the top rushing QB in the league, with only 16 attempts and an 8.87 average. I didn't even notice that last season.....wow
