Re-Installing Windows, Need FOF help

So I'm going to re-install windows, but knowing how dumb FOF is, getting back in may be a bitch. Does anyone know how I get the serial number or w/e license thing that will allow me to do it again? Do I unlicense it or something?

I copied the FOF folder so I can just overwrite it once licensed again, and saved all the data from my appdata folder. Is there anything I'm missing that will make it a pia to set back up?

Ok since I'm re-installing windows I mostly likely need to unlicense. I know you can have multiple licenses but best to be safe while I still have my system in place. I exported my gameplan already just in case I need to contact them and it takes a few days.

Might as well contact them now. They were prompt with me in that situation but others have complained of waiting.

I would def suggest unlicensing before the re-install if you see that option. Might give you the code on the spot ala "XDE#939svn has been unlicensed" or something.

Create a shortcut to the FOF exe. Edit the shortcut to add an unlicense flag to it.


Last part should look like this: FrFoot2007.exe -unlicense

Run the shortcut and it should bring you to an eLicense screen where you can unlicense.

I was able to unlicense it, so I should be all set once my HDD finishes formatting. Tempted to throw it on my laptop as well but how many computers can you put the game on?
