You want a DE and are picking in the top 4, you have a cornerstone for your defense for 11 seasons.

          Midgets.

Top 2 LBs are 5' 9", a good half-foot away from the prototype.

Good year for above average RBs. A few teams will probably grab one in the late 1st/early 2nd that could have gone earlier in other classes.

Yeah, I'm very disappointed with the MLB class - yuck!
I agree about the RBs though and it also seems like there's a fair number of above-avg WRs, not sure if any of these will last to the late 1st though!

wide receivers are eaten up faster in this league than ... a fat man at an all you can eat buffet...

Oh, is that why I've had 7 offers so far?

There seems to be about 4-5 ILBs masquerading as college DEs this year.

I'm not exactly tight with my 1.30 pick this season but if a lot of WRs fly off the boards before then then that might change things.

hmm, I have a hard enough time evaluating talent straight up, but I like this idea. I guess weight is the biggest factor and maybe strength. The last couple seasons I've drafted a couple low-weight safeties and high-weight corners hoping to convert them but then my coaches say they'll lose a lot of skill so I never make the switch.

I could be talking out of my ass because this is my only league so my data is limited, but when it comes to corners/safeties I believe:

CBs with Zone, Play Diagnosis, and Run Stopping make good Safeties, though *maybe* good NBs as well without the risk of a switch since I read the NB drops back often into zone.
Ss with great 40 times *might* be good CBs, though this switch seems rarer than CB->S.

My non-FOF knowledge has me think CBs with no BN'R skills would make better safeties since they're away from the line but I have no idea if this translates into FOF reality.

I've often had the "reason to believe in increase" message but roster slots sometimes keep me from switching.

I have had virtually zero success switching CB/S or S/CB. Ruined a few players but cant recall any success
