This matchup reminded me of one of the two big trades I made when I first took over the Whales. I didn't really know what I was doing (I probably shouldn't have made the other trade, 1.2 to GEO) - but Nitschke has certainly helped us maintain one of the better defenses the past 7 years. Mendenhall helped WVA win a Championship so I think it worked out well for them too.
Beasts send:
MLB Nitschke
DE Cusano
Vancouver sends:
DE Mendenhall
Both players are likely nearing the end of their careers, this could be their last hurrah. I hope Nitschke can play at least one more year.Last edited by markc; 05-15-2012, 01:15 PM.

Gameplan is in. WVA's strengths seems to be their passing game, run defense and special teams. I can't let Bernard Strong go nuts, but then Andre Thomsason can shred the defense with his 78 BPR, so that is problematic.
Well, I can't think of anything witty to say, so good luck Kozure.
