Negative effects to cutting final year players?

I was just thinking how every off-season when perusing my roster I have to look at FAs who were on my team the prior season but I have no intentions of re-signing. Is there any negative effect to cutting those players on the final 2021 stage file so that I start 2022 with absolutely no connection to them?

Cohesion? Some type of team loyalty rating for signing players?

The only bad thing is if you do end up re-signing them, they will lose their cohesion.

I hate that. Some ass clown you have no intention of going forward with comming too the facility, harrassing the secretaries, leaving the toilet seats up and just being on the roster every export. those losers annoy me too no end.
