We've managed to get some seperation in our division but we've still gotta play the Firebirds twice.
Now we need to finish things.

A home win Sunday would set us up nicely for the last 6 games and might leave Montreal with too much to do to catch us.
A loss will give Montreal a fighting chance at running us down.
    It's that big a game.

I'm not gonna wish you luck Chris, we've lived in your shadow long enough.
Time for us to flex some muscle.
We're looking to sweep the Firebirds (like we did Cleveland) and kill that Phoenix once and for all.
    Grrr!!

    Go French Canadians!

Fresno is in our way to respectability...I'd settle for a one point win in overtime.... and no injuries.

GG Jester. You have a ton of guys out but it was still a sweet win for us. You have owned us since the old hey days of the Pirates. We still have a long way out of the cellar though and a rematch in the final week of the season. I think that game will mean more for us then you.

It was really good to see a solid win and performance for a change ... and against a solid Hartford squad that I have a lot of respect for. GG kkiley ... and good luck on turning around this three game losing streak of yours - sometimes a tough act in FOF.

Now I know why they're called the F-Birds.....
Watching that game I must've said the F-word twenty times!!

A win would've realistically clinched the division, but now it's gonna go down to the last week or so.

Apart from Ouellette's first pass (returned for a pick six) our offense played very well.
Ouellette threw for 3 TD's, Diedrich had another 100yd plus game, Graham hit 150yds rushing.
                Can't blame the offense.

Defensively, we just couldn't come up with a turnover or big stop.
Montreal's punter kept the pressure up in the 2nd half with three straight punts pinning us back inside our 5yd line.
From there we kept punting it back with Montreal starting at midfield....sooner or later the D was gonna snap and give up a TD.

In the end, the Firebirds had the ball last and scored a chip shot FG to win as time expired.

GG Chris, two very equal sides but we came up just short.
Gotta split the games with a win at your place now.

GG Argot. Just watched solevision and it was very close. We needed a Chukwurah fumble to pull it out. McNeil and May both got banged up a bit. And May didn't get much help from his receivers. I think your rebuild is looking good, next season you can draft some weapons for May and with your crazy cap room you can probably nab a top-shelf FA or two.

GG Tarcone. Threw the ball downfield more this week. Pass protection was awful but the 2 or 3 big plays we managed through the air off set it. Might sit the rookie LT down the stretch.

Robbins and Matthews could have each been named DPotW. Dominated Sanford and the TUL WR's all day.

QB controversy at hand in SLC as Downing played well enough to not get pulled (set to 4) but Gurley went from disgruntled to unhappy and Tyler keeps asking the O-coordinator what Nickel coverage is...

I like players who get pissy about playing time...

Thanks r00k. I like my squad but I can't seem to put the pieces together. Looks like I'm destined for another 8-8 year.

You absolutely destroyed us. Orlando is ready for Prime Time and Wilkins is one of the IFL's craftiest little bastards. Good luck down the stretch, though I don't want to see a replay of Week 11 in January.
