I hope so. I don't mean to sound like a drama queen about it all, but being in the league since the second season, it gets frustrating being the punching bags =/ I don't think I've made the playoffs since FOF2007 came along, although I could be wrong on that.

I do know just as I was getting the hang of '04, Jim added all types of crazy stuff to '07 that I never really adapted to.

it's lawrence week.
we really need to beat them to better position ourselves in the NC East race. Hoping to see some big games from a few key offensive players and also really hoping my defense shows up for this game.

somehow we got defensive familiar messages against lawrence after they ran 30 plays, then only saw it maybe once more in the next 40ish. what a shitty way to lose. seems to be a trend this year.

The Newark-Lawrence game had an incredible ending in OT ... both teams had chances to win and muffed the opportunity. It was a mistake at the end that was the eventual game changer ... a fumble by Newark on the 24 or so yard line of Lawrence and then the Phantoms finally took care of business in their third possession in the OT period.


Good game to watch guys.

Edit ... Had a good game to watch the Vipers too ... they were in an bye week and didn't lose for a change.

Hey, Rex won a bunch of games down the stretch last year for me. Don't get discouraged Steve.

Good but sloppy game. Neither team ran much and you kept me from ever pulling away thanks to a red zone int and a missed fg. But I'll take the win. Now to kick juniors teeth in and go into the bye at 4-3. If I can do that I'll forgive those horrid first 3 weeks.

Defense, rushing and a great day on special teams won this one. Passing game never got going. Didn't hurt us though either. We may be too vanilla.

Didn't think that game against Oakland would be like that. This team is playing really really well, both offensively and defensively. Debussy is a nice pickup so far.
