Btw what's up with the schedule maker? From the last 3 seasons, I've had 8 of 9 road games during the final 3 games. With my schedule sandwiched by 6 road games (3 before, 3 after), it's going to be an interesting season.

First I played a super defense, now I play a super offense, and then I'll play a balanced Anchorage team. Mommy hold me

Adjusted the offense to try to help the young guys. Will need lots of help from the D and the Whalers this week.

              shitty way to lose.
stupidness here after being up 10-0
Anchorage: Strong formation with three wideouts, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
3-6-NWK12 (2Q: 00:31) Edward Jacobs pass completed to WR Sammie Oskolkoff for 12 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Oskolkoff gained 2 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage. Newark 10, Anchorage 6
(2Q: 00:31) Extra point by Ross Gaudio was good. Newark 10, Anchorage 7
(2Q: 00:20) Ross Gaudio kicked off 56 yards from the ANC30. Nicky Doyle returned the ball 24 yards to the NWK38. Tackled by Don Phillips. Ball was fumbled and recovered by ANC Arnold Thomas on the NWK38.
              1-10-NWK38 (2Q: 00:13) Ross Gaudio attempted a 55 yard field goal and succeeded. Anchorage 10, Newark 10
(2Q: 00:08) Ross Gaudio kicked off 74 yards from the ANC30. Touchback.

              stupid.

then with a 1 pt lead and 2mins left

Newark: I formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the run.
1-10-NWK20 (4Q: 01:48) Gary Jamison ran inside the right guard for 5 yards. Tackled by OLB Adam Kollars, assisted by S Travis Blades. Key block delivered by Shane Brush.
              (4Q: 01:48) Anchorage called a time out.
Newark: I formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 1-deep, man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the run.
2-5-NWK25 (4Q: 01:38) The Situation Jamison ran around left end for 2 yards. Tackled by ILB Eric Rivas, assisted by OLB HORSE Kollars.
              (4Q: 01:38) Anchorage called a time out.
Newark: Single-Back formation with four receivers, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, expecting the run.
3-3-NWK27 (4Q: 01:29) Darnell Castillo ran outside the right tackle for -1 yards and was forced out of bounds. Tackled by OLB HORSE Kollars.
4-4-NWK26 (4Q: 01:23) Drew Compton punted 31 yards. Bart Smoker called for a fair catch at the ANC43.

Castillo runs out of bounds and then we get a shitty punt.....
              next play

Anchorage: Pro formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
1-10-ANC43 (4Q: 01:16) Edward Jacobs pass completed to WR Joel Lysne for 28 yards. Tackled by CB Rickey Richard. Lysne gained 21 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

Georgia: Strong formation with three wideouts, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with nickel personnel and 3-deep zone coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
4-6-WVA07 (4Q: 00:23) Billy Troutman pass completed to RB Rich Sparkman for 6 yards. Tackled by S Marlon Blake. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage. The ball was fumbled and recovered by WVA Herman Ebbitt on the WVA01.
Gay. Two key turnovers deep in West Virginia territory is the reason we lost this one.

                GG Kozure.

We now have he #2 overall defense, but the offense turned it over 3 times...so we lose. 350 yards to 212 should usually be enough of an advantage...

                          GG Montreal.

There really was no pressure for Portland. We stunk it up. Defense was pretty good but the O was sooo bad it didnt matter. Wilkins looked lost. I dont think he is liking the gameplan and rookie WR Stephenson had about as bad a game as humanly possible. 0 for 5 with 2 drops. Atrocious.

Not enough offense yet, low numbers on offensive sets known, and our defense hasn't come to play yet. We'll have to grow into this "new team" as we still don't have the magic formula

and I'm not real sold on our coaches.

but... the Phantoms played well enough to win, we forced them to more field goals than td's, and we're building.

Just gotta hang on and take our lumps early... I know we can get this team turned around.. ...
