upload utility

The upload has a lot of files on it with strange timestamps, one of which is mine, and I haven't uploaded yet. I'm trying to upload my real export, but it won't let me, because there is already a file on the server. So, I have two questions:

How did we get at least one and probably several dummy exports on the server?

Why can't we upload a new export that overwrites a previously uploaded export?

What you're seeing via the website is not correct. I don't know why it's showing that but when I go on the server and look in the actual upload folder they all look good. I'm gonna run the stage tonight based on thinking that it's a cosmetic thing that I can't explain.

As for overwriting, I have not been able to find either a reason or solution. If you have a 2nd file that you would like to use you can send it to me at Suicane AT Verizon DOT net

If it turns out that the files are fubared for whatever reason I'll just delay the sim till tomorrow. I hope that's not the case though.

I just got back from the gym and see you have cleared the files. I hope I'm not too late. This is an important stage.

The first file that was there was not mine. I didn't upload until I tried and failed today.

Unless someone else is using your exact info, including in game, I have no idea how a correct file could be uploaded.

There are alot in there now. Im not sure if I uploaded or not. No big deal, I can do it again. But is 146 bytes a normal sized file or not?

File size for these stages is based on how many offers you put out. They will be anywhere from less than 100k, to over a megabyte.

If you uploaded you're fine. It's trying to upload a 2nd time and overwrite where people are getting in trouble and getting the error. At that point you can email them to me and I'll use that one instead of the one that's on the server but for the time being please try and be vigilant and if at all possible just upload once.
