You run Windows/FOF through a portal while still on Mac OS? I'm only using this screenname when I have IFL open.

Checked out Adium. Be cool if I used a portal but I use boot camp to switch over entirely to Windows. This is the one time a Mac app does me no good.

I have Parallels to run Win XP in a virtual machine.. I have some work related stuff that requires windows as well as FOF so I have to have something and I refuse to dual boot. The good thing about the VM is that I can run a VPN-client on there without affecting my regular internet connection on the Mac (needed for work). It's also neat to be able to drag & drop items from Windows to my Mac.. not that it's required that often, but it's nice.

I'm so totally into Mac nowadays it's scary.. Macbook, iMac, Mac Mini for my TV, iPad, iPhone.. getting a Macbook Air next

FOF is the only reason I own Windows.

I purchased parallels back in 2007 or so. I wonder if I can contact them and redownload it.

It runs on wine, too, by the way. I dual-boot on my macbook pro but I just run FOF through wine on my lab computer (mac pro). It's buggy, but it's free. All-in-all, it looks the same as when running it in Windoze, but sometimes the FOF windows don't refresh properly and you have to minimize them to force the refresh.

mac lovers unite! too bad that other football sim was written in .net and WPF, or we might have had an AIR or Java or why not HTML5/Javascript built football sim that was completely platform independent

I was a PC user for all of my adult life before I bought a macbook back in 2009, six months later I replaced my stationary with an iMac and I've never looked back.... mac mac mac mac..

Im a bit biased in this discussion, because I work as a Mac tech :-)

Count me in on the 'only thing I use Parallels/Windows for is FOF' camp...
