Yea, I think worst case, however, people can see you intended to sign someone so if the tag doesn't work, we'd probably (hopefully) be more flexible to give the team first dibs to re-sign?

Summer league is where you send your second year player, just one, to a league somewhat like NFL Europe, and let them develop a bit more. They can come back improved, or not improved, and injured, but it's well worth it to develop a second year pro..

you do it by clicking on the guy ingame and then go up to the far right top of the screen and you'll see ... Summer.... click it, and he's gone...

yes, and IIRC, it has too be a second year guy that is under contract.
