WINDY CITY PRESS - CRUSADERS ANNOUNCE NEW GM/LOGO
As the 2020 post season draws to a close and the IFL crowns its newest champion, life goes on for the remaining teams watching from the sidelines. With only 3 winning seasons and 1 playoff birth in 10 seasons, and following their worst single season record in that time the Crusaders owner decided it was a time for a change at the GM position. With the release of the previous Front Office staff the team announced the hiring of David "Iceman" Hiley as the new GM.
Iceman is a known presence in the IFL as the former GM of Columbus Fire/Georgia Generals as well as a short stint with the LA Liberty. "I have wanted to return to the IFL for sometime, and finally getting a chance in Chicago has me very excited" the teams new GM stated at the team press conference this afternoon.
With the new GM and the new mindset on where the team is going in 2021, the Crusaders announce that they have a new logo and color scheme for the 2021 season.
The team plans to release photo of their uniform in the near future.
Now we just have to wait and see where the Crusaders will select in 2021...
