Recipe for beating Tulsa is in... lot of fresh ingredientses in this one!

Good luck, tarcone. I'm playing "Propane" with his gimpy knee so part of me just wants to get out of this without a CEI to him.

    Should be a great battle!

I sent my plan in. The post Andrews plan. It looks like a different focus for Sanford. We shall see if it works.

Now that you mentioned a gimpy knee, Im sure Coach Gunn will be telling the defense to hit him low.

Good luck to you. I have a bad feeling about this game. Im hoping home field comes into play.

Let's do this thing! I hope I don't get any of those "the defense isn't moving fast enough on this cold day" messages as Jamison/Castillo races for 40 yards.

                whew!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure I have a curse. My starting QB gets hurt in this playoff game. this has happened to me wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many times lately

Thank god i have Wes schultz on my bench. He's been Burgers backup for years and years.....and now we need to lean on him. He played ok for us today, but will need to play better going forward.
GG Mark. Our defense played well enough to earn a win. Your D was solid also. The Whales are for real.

Revenge for the humiliation of last year. Good game, dthomso8.

Now get to finally face jeffrey in a IFL championship game. Brings back good memories (read: nightmares).

Thankfully, I seem to have righted the West Virginia ship after a very shaky second half of the season. Defensively we are playing well and Markel just put in what may have been his best game of the season.

That being said, I expect Jeffrey to gameplan the hell out of this one and for this game to be a defensive slugfest. Only way it gets out of hand is if one of us turns the ball over and the other team runs away with the game. Could happen. We are very turnover prone.

Today's game against the Mules shows what we can do when we don't give the other team the ball.

Good game Matt - your defense just completely shut us down. I'm pretty disappointed that we didn't make a better showing. Sorry about the injury to Burger. Good luck in the rest of the playoffs and also to the remaining teams - should be a great finish.

Wow. A shoot out in Tulsa. Amos and Sanford traded punches all day. But we win out in the end.
Stat of the game or is it? Time of possesion: Lawrence 40:55, Tulsa 19:55

Amazing we overcame that. Andrews replacements, Meske and Harding had 10 catches for 151 yards and 3 TDs. They came up huge.

While Lawrence was putting together 15 or 16 play TD drives we had 3 or 4 play TD drives. Crazy.

Lawrence was 14/20 on 3rd downs, Tulsa was 2/6.

That was a great win for us.

                      GG Jester.

Tulsa holds on to win one of the greatest games in IFL history!! We needed just "4 more yards"!! 28 yard pass from the 32 to end the game. I thought it had to be a TD when it said "Amos throws deep" and then "Whitfield makes the catch"... yet the roller-coaster of emotions crashed to it's lowest depth in defeat.

                        88 plays, 575 yards, 0 TO's, 35 First Downs, 14/20 3rd downs, 34 points... not enough.

                        Congrats, tarcone!

For the record there was nothing at all shady about Tulsa's gameplan. Just a very well developed roster that seems to break at least 1 in 4 passes for a bigger gain.

The natural feeling is to "call BS" when your 15 play drives are being followed by 3-4 play 65 yard TDs but I'm sure the rest of the NFL feels the same against the Pats, Packers, etc... The reality is that a great roster and gameplan is going to have great success and Tulsa's doing just that.

We got outscored in a shootout. Definitely not how I thought the game would go.

Man am I tired of losing to Jeffrey
