Week 7 Power Rankings......

I like it, some of the changes are good. Verbally you are still pretty rough on the Ogres up there in Lansing, but ateast you gave them a ranking they deserved. Specially with the big, "proved themselves," kind of win they had this week. Question the SLC ranking, below the Toads? As much as I like my running game, SLC's is better, and the team is just plain better. Not much but enough in my opinion.

Anyways, as far as the Toads, I actually like the comments this week. And look at my stats for the week, you will notice that Dixon was not on his own this week..............and probably won't be the rest of the season. As far as passing though, it's not much my style, atleast until I get better play from my QB's. Maybe the old guy here, Renteria, can change my mind if he gives me some of that "solid even though not spectacular" play.

In case you didn't notice, I was grading everyone on the season's
performance instead of my usual, what they did this week.

As far as the Toads go, it was Dixon and Leigh this week, but I still
think you need to open your passing game up a bit.

My receivers and QB are sub par, but they do a good job when the
running game is on. This week my second year QB dropped the
ball on potentially the tieing drive.

On to the Ogre's. I just talking facts.
27th in IFL in Rush-O
17th in IFL in Pass-O
10th in IFL in Rush-D
27th in IFL in Pass-D

The Ogre's are poutting up less than average numbers against
teams that have a combined record of 14-25.
Their victories include: Oak, Fargo, Pitt, Fresno, and the only
big win is over Newark. They lost to SLC who I believe is a bottom
half team.

But, they have a weak overall schedule. It is possible that they
may only lose 2-3 more games. They won't go far into the playoffs,
but they can get there.

This week they picked up 175 total yards of O, but won because they
picked up 3 out of 5 fumbles.

The three Newark players that couched up the ball had not fumbled all
year. Now that is luck, or as I call it, Swiss Army Sphincter.

oh don't get me wrong, i understand your arguements against Lansing, and they are very solid. I just lean towards giving them there due for the record they have,...........and Leigh of the Toads will finish the year strong, he is my key to 1 or 2 more wins this year..... :P
