When did the IFL form? Also some history

After like 2-3 seasons I wished we could have a do-over of the initial draft. I so badly wanted to put my stamp on it. Overall though, the guy who drafted the Renegades didn't do a bad job. Career ending injuries destroyed that team.

ya, if i recall correctly Houston had the best young talent in the league at that point. then St.Clair got hurt.

I joined after week 1 games were simmed. the league wasn't full and I have been the only guy running this team after the initial draft...........which of course drafted me some 38 rated RT and pd him huge money. caused me some cap issues right away!

That is the same time I joined as well. I actually have to hand it to whoever drafted the initial Orlando Pirates, because we won it all that year.

My biggest fuckup was trading Bice... that offense would have been sweet with St.Clair, Timmerman, Bice, and Ambrose Jones. Doesn't matter because like you said, St.Clair got the career killer, as did Jones.

I do like that we see less of that in 07. It was frustrating that any injury over like 6+ weeks or a specific type of injury gave the player a 50% shot at suddenly forgetting to play his position.

IIRC, St.Clair had a knee issue, yet for some reason when he came back, he forgot how to throw the ball? Those injuries CAN be career killers, but not at the rate original FOF had.
