Whew I was just glad I won! I sure as hell didn't want to start out 0-2. Good game Texas is was back and forth.

I know we were picked 28 but I think we'll be better than that. If the running duo of Campell and Yee continues to improve I believe we won't have to pass and just rely on the possesion game and defense.

I definitely see us competing for the AFC west crown. :P

Haha! Don't worry though, it wasn't your typo. I changed it in the quote.

I thought it would be closer. I finally figured out Run D, but damn.... my secondary sucked ass this game, and the one before it. It's odd, sure I traded some depth, but all 4 starters were back from last year, and I got some good young talent for back there, one of whom is developing nicely.

Then it hit me in the car this morning. Since I changed up my D from last year slightly, I am not game planning it right. So with that figured out, my D should get better. Still it is encouraging that I only gave up 73 yards on the ground.

BUT, my offense has me very concerned. I jack up my FB run rate, and still only gave it to him twice. My QB play has been dreadful. Last week it looked good until the end of the game, this week it was plain bad.

Still, if you asked me at the beginning of the season if I thought we would start 0-4, I would have said that is a distinct possibility. I put my first four games up against anyone's schedule, WVA, SLC, ANC, and CLE. YIKES!

Burlington's D was very tough. Losing my center for the year and my coach I think has really affected my team bigtime. Look what my ex-coach is doing out in Salt Lake, although Mr. Tart has been shut down which is surprising. I have a lot to improve on but at least I am 1-1 and not 0-2.
Tart isn't being shut down. Vito is opening up the field and guys need to make adjustments.
            Correct!!!

Jeff I didn't know you cared

Hell, I saw it, made some adjustments, and still got drilled... I really need to go over the game log because I think I know why my secondary has been torched. But then again, I did hold him to 17/30 passing, it was just big yards when he threw a completion.

For what its worth I didnt feel like you Martz'd your team. The play calls were consistent with week 1 and it worked for you. It was a very close game, OT victory for me, and you rang the bell against my secondary. I may have played the wrong approach in dealing with your WRs but still a solid performance for you. I agree with hot offense. We just have a better kicker. Yours missed from the 40 plus range and mine didnt.

I'm not taking away credit to your team, don't get me wrong. Just the flow of the game didn't sit well with me. Usually I only swear at my monitor once or twice a game. This week I just felf like I swore over 10 times. Offensively I just didn't try to run the ball enough. I sat all week thinking of what I was going to do against your team. I knew you had a good secondary and some good LB. Honestly, I was going to run the ball up the gut against your NT up until Saturday. On Saturday I seemed to talk myself into keeping my short pass philosophy. Not sure how it would have worked out, but your D was really looking for the pass.
I also didn't do enough homework on defense. I was so consumed as to what I was going to try to do on offense, I just didn't look at the defense close enough. I actually thought that you'd run a little more. I was hoping for my defensive talent to help out, I guess. That didn't help out too much.
It was a good game, and you have a good team!
