I downloade GIMP to my PC so I could do a few things, but I think either I'm to stupid to figure it out or something.Cuz it seems to me that its just like ms paint or somethin like that. Here's what I mean.Lets sy I take a picture of Dan Marino and I want to change the color of his helmet and uniform, from what I can figure out the only way to do that is dot by dot with the pencil or brush.Tell me there is another way,PPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE.Any help or advice on how to use these programs would be appreciated.Replies here or by PM would be appreciated.

I don't know what GIMP is but if it's like Photoshop then you need to select only the areas that you want color-changed and adjust the hue, tint, color levels or something of the sort. Try checking the GIMP help menu (assuming it has one) for "color adjustment".
