Roster size question

Can you have more than 53 players on your roster after a FA stage but before a gameday stage? In other words, do you have to release a player before signing one?

No you do not have to release one, just make sure you do on gameday and that that guy is nowhere on your depth charts.

I think I have 54 right now because I forgot to cut a guy on the FA stage.

My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
