Or you could be ripped on for not signing a single free agent with a rating over 40 in this last offseason and for drafting a fullback in the first round.

I agree. I think #25 would be more in line.
Yes, we have a prozac prescription for a Mr. Cartegena, you can pick it up anytime.
You must have him confused with some other player, because he isn't suffering from depression currently.
Yeah, im sorry. He looked like he was really on an even keel last week.

Uhh, name some good free agents I missed --- not much talent changed teams this last offseason and at my pick, that FB was the best available player (that's how bad this draft class was). Shit I hope he signs before we play and catches the winning TD on your ass

There weren't too many starters available, but there were some and there definitely were players out there that could provide extra depth. I'm a believer that you shouldn't have any more than, say, 5 million dollars of cap space available. You don't even have to lock guys up for any more than a year.

Also, didn't you just post about your looking for a DT? Well, you could've signed Collins for a one-year deal worth 11 or 12 million. If I remember correctly, you have around 20 million dollars of cap room currently.

Outlaws are a bit high on the board after our performance week 1. Still underachieving in my book. We deserve a top 10 ranking on talent but havent translated that to performance on the field that looks top 10.

                  NC North
Agree with your overrated and underrated, except Vancouver. They may stuggle, hard to say in that division.

And I am seeing a repeat of his Lansing stance already happening with Pittsburg this year I think, or the NC North in general.
Man,whats up with all the hatin' on my team.I mean I know we're not the mighty Fire or Toads but I think we did pretty good to go 7*9 last year, all things considered anyway.

                  Don't hate,let me penetrate!!!

I hate to admit it, but I kind of agree with Montreal's ranking, though less with the comments. I think we've really tightened up our pass defense, and it showed in our first game. Though I've been wrong before. This next game should demonstrate one way or the other.

Oh, and a minor thing....went 7-9 last season, not 6-10.

                      well see

After my week 1 loss I was surprised to see me at #3. Cleveland has an extremely tough schedule this year. I struggle vs my division and my non division schedule is brutal. The Bolts are going to be a tough challenge thats for sure. Can't wait for tomorrow morn!

I agree hawkster, but it will become more of that way as things go on. I tend to look at this as more of a season prediction/ranking with a week of results to help base things on, since it is the first of the year.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Gee man, I guess we're not all as smart as you. No way I was signing an 11-year guy for $10 million when I saw how much of a NON FACTOR signing DT Warren Sapp was for my Baltimore defense. Yes, I'm looking for a young DT to build around but the draft was a little dissappointing there.

Bottom line is that I believe in building with younger players man and I think it's bullshit for you to ride a guy for his philsophy---I mean WTF? Win a championship already ...

Yours was a tough one. You beat a damn good team. But I just don't think your skill players will play consistently throughout the season. I think they will be very on-or-off throughout the season. I think your O happened to be "on" against a good opponent. Your D isn't that bad, and could help. But it all comes down to offensive consistency for the Matadors.

Show me another week of a high powered offense against Columbia, and I'll apoligize in the rankings and move you into the top half.
