Another week, another win. Cleveland went undefeated in the preseason and has only lost one game this year by three points. I am honestly very surprised as I have a couple of players who need to develop some and I have lots of hole's in my D, but the Clawz just keep winning. I put in a new gameplan this week for the the divisional game and it worked pretty well. I finally got some kind of production out of my QB! Be on the lookout for FB Munguia who just signed a career contract extension to stay in Cleveland. He will be taking away from some of Deason's numbers but this is a team game! This Tart guy may get the rushing title, but Cleveland is after the league title. Looking forward to a playing the very solid Reno this weak to get a better guage at just how far the Clawz can go this season.

yeah, your rushing game keeps your D off the field enough that they don't have to be the best........

and that Cleveland-Reno game is goning to be a good one, i think you might have the edge though. not going to be my Game of the Week on the sportspage though, that one will have to go to 5-1 Hartford at 5-1 Anchorage......

If you want to be on the front page, you gotta play for Hartford! Two straight weeks of being on the front page. Plus, I think we were on it earlier this season too.

ya, Fargo was on 2 weeks in a row too. I try to pick the best games, but this week didn't have one that REALLY stood out. Some good games, but none begging for the main article......

I will be sure to avoid your team in the future though

I'm a little pissed my team lost to Lansing. I'm fighting through injuries with a make shift O-line and a scrap RB. I only have 1player on my O line that was a starter. 4 out of 5 guys are injured. My top 2 RB's are both hurt ,but I get my franchise WR back so I figured to pass a little more. My D held Lansing the whole frickn' game until a fumble gave Lansing great field position right at the end of the 3rd qtr. They kick a FG and are down 6. Add another FG after a little field posiiton battle and they're only down 3 with less than 5 to go in the game. I get the ball and punt it away. Lansing walks down the field like my D looks like a bunch of pylons. I get the ball with 51 sec left on my 29 and need a TD. My 48 yd pass ends up being called back on an illegal formation   2 plays later we fumble and lose the game
I'm almost imbarassed to be on the board. My team will be healthy for a nice playoff run, but I'm a little dissapointed in my defense right now. I know that if I had a better running game I would have held them off. We couldn't do anything in the second half.

Yeah, your injury situation is FUCKED up. The injury rating is at 100, and no one has suffered injuries like you. Pretty messed up for you.

On the positive side, it gives me hope against you this week........ :P

The party is still ongoing here in the 'boro as the Mules get their first win of the 2003 season. Unfourtunatly the punter was the star of the game, keeping the Norfolk Vipers - and their cool helmets, penned deep in their own territory for most of the second half. This victory in the field position battle allowed the D to complete the win and avoid another improbable collapse as was suffered last week in New Orleans. The Mules special teams and D were able to overcome numerous mistakes and inconsistencies by the Mule offense.
