Fact is, the first I heard about this trade was on saturday morning. Had either of you sent a message to either Suicane or I that there was a pending trade there maybe would had some relavance

no, no, no, no. We basically dominated Norfolk in the first half. A stupid interception in the last two minutes of the first half and the lead is only 3 points. Add some (read: a lot) of offensive holding calls after big gains in the second half and in overtime. Then Cavazos does his thing, completes a 40 yard pass and Norfolk kicks the easy FG for the win.

GG rook. Not sure if I can say you deserved the win, but taking advantage of an opponent who plays well and very bad at the same time speaks for the sound gameplan of your team.

Hey sidewinder ... YOU WERE ROBBED in broad daylight in your own stadium. It was a misable performance by the Vipers and I understand your frustrations in the first half. Hell, the majority of my points came on a blocked punt returned for a TD. There was no offense or defense from my players.

The second half really wasn't much better as the refs decided to take control of the game. Their yellow flags seemed to dot the green grass on a LOT of opportune occasions - pretty much all to the snake's advantage. Again, I feel you pain at having to watch that too.

This whole situation smells of DG just desperate to get something for the $16m cap hit he knows he's going to have to take next season. I wouldn't be shocked if his plan all along was to use his cap space to sign and trade him mid-season, essentially buying a pick or two.

Btw, remind me never to vent to DG if something about the league pisses me off. Now he's telling everyone BOSS was talking about quitting over this? Did he also say Suicane was a big fat stinky head too? (because he really is)

I love how everyone and their grand mother comes out to try to have a go at me when I wasn't the one who asked to have the rules bent. I got a msg from BOSS saying he wanted to trade but he wouldnt be able to get online until 4am. I told him well you msg matt and see if he will do it for you. He msgd me saying If yinz didn't cut him a break he was probably going to quit the league. He got back to me the next day told me matt said no and he was pissed off. I tried to get in contact with matt saturday afternoon even msgd Jester if he knew where matt was he didnt. Saturday turns to sunday and I decided to say my 2 cents about how you did Boss dirty. If you dont like that and you think I was the one DESPERATE well thats just not the case and your being a dick.

GG Vito. I think at the end of the 1Q Scott was 1 for 10 with an INT. Your d-line was getting lots of blocks and hurries. I don't know why your running game did so poorly, I'd like to say it was my D, but maybe it was the rain?

Looking forward to the rematch. You've had our number the past 3 games I think. Last year one of the things that did us in was going 1-5 in the division and it would be very hard to overcome losing both games to Oakland...so in the immortal words of John Elway, "We'll show up".

I'm sorry but I don't think there's anything dirty in refusing to bend the rule for a GM. It's unfortunate for Boss who wasn't able to confirm the deal because of work, but I think it was the right call.

There was a mix up in my franchise file but after they looked at it, it was on my side. I lost Hamilton because of that. I was pissed because I sent a file for this stage. They didn't want to correct that.

It was the good call.

Shit happens, but we can't change the rules for that.

Also, good game Matt. It was an ugly one. We had 2 costly turnovers but we were 7 yards away from a tie. I'm happy about how we're playing.

I believe they would have put the trade in if they were preinformed in some manner.

I don't recall a post by DG or Boss in the finalized trade area. Had at least 1 of them posted there, before the deadline, I think Boss' work issue would have been a non-issue.

Of course Matt and Suicane carry a big chunk of the water for the other 30 guys so whatever they say is gold!

The running game worked so well that Osuchowski set a new team single game rushing record with 199 yards.
