I mean. I don't even know where to start. You can't have more turnovers than points. I guess that's a good way to put it. What a butt ugly effing display. Good game Wolfie, you made my team look like a steaming pile.
      I luv British womenz.

Newark ended the game on a long pass reception in my 20. FOF counts it as an offensive red zone possession. Anyone know if the NFL would?

            wow!
what a way to lose. Sometimes these classics just create new ways!!!! hahah

up 14-0, we give up a good score and then fumble the ball on our 12yd line on the first play on the ensuing kickoff.

or maybe while being up 31-30 with 1:57 left in the game and we give the Phantoms 30 additional yards on "unsportsmanlike conduct" penalties. We finish the game with an uncharacteristic 9 penalties for 65yards.

The "nightmare" looked more like a disney movie in this game.

Can only go up from here, right?

looking forward to the re-match.........yes already......

Singleton is still the man. He gets 2 TDs to lead us to a 20-16 win over Georgia.
Rhinehart has a great debut. 5 for 107 yards.
              Andrews shut down.

Gg Beez. We have the early upper hand.

                Game notes week one:

Tough week for Donovan. I swear there's hidden ratings. That's about the game I would expect from someone who hasn't played in 2 years, despite the fact he's showing NO "rust" on his player sheet:
                Horace Donovan34201930/0239357.6
Cornell Burgess is attempting a 44 yard field goal.
Burgess steps forward and kicks the ball.
The ball heads down, and it's just over the crossbar!
First score of the season! Oakland 3 Vancouver 0

Horace Donovan gets the ball from the center.
                Geoff Wilson takes the handoff.
Wilson runs the ball around left end.
Offensive Tackle Troy Stickney knocks Chester Castillo flat to help create a hole for the runner.
The play goes for 5 yards and a touchdown!
First score of the season! Grats Wilson! Oakland 10 Vancouver 0

                Winston Scott receives the snap.
He gives the ball to Perry Brinsfield.
The ball carrier runs a smash play inside the right guard.
Brinsfield breaks a pair of tackles and continues.
He's got a lot of running room now.
They are not going to catch him.
The play goes for 80 yards and a touchdown!
Nice run. To bad you suck and that's ALL you do the rest of the day!
                Oakland 10 Vancouver 7

Nicky Blades is lined up to try a 21 yard field goal.
Blades steps forward and kicks the ball.
                And the kick is good!
Vancouver going with the "huckn'chuck" offense? Interesting...
                Oakland 10 Vancouver 10

Winston Scott takes the snap and heads back.
Scott was sacked by Defensive Tackle Leonard Wingfield for a loss of 9 yards.
Casey Machado should have been able to prevent the sack.
                That looks like a fumble.
Oakland's Donnell Donnelly snags the loose ball and returns it 13 yards to the Vancouver 5.
Vancouver has NO answer for Wingfield. This could be the year he steps up and shows why he was the 1st overall selection in 2016.

Horace Donovan fields the snap and drops back to pass.
Donovan throws a short pass to Wide Receiver Winston Stuart.
                Stuart makes the catch.
The pass is good for 1 yard and a touchdown!
This is the connection I expected when I drafted Stuart 19th overall.

Horace Donovan drops back in the pocket.
Donovan fires a long pass intended for Wide Receiver David Thomason.
                Thomason made the reception.
The play goes for 18 yards and a touchdown!
                An that seals the victory!!

                A couple extra notes:
I had a feeling about J.C. Tennyson and he didn't disappoint in week one. While the stat sheet doesn't reflect it, he was pretty disruptive.
I feel good..........at least in week one about the changes I made. I got lazy with run direction and paid for it. That won't happen again.

The "media darlings" got it done this time, it's Miller time!

Well we can move the ball it seems I just gotta get them to get it in the endzone lol

Defense was big today today 3 fumbles, 2 sacks, & 1 interception. they can only get better when Ike Cook gets healthy.

GG Sui, I expect another physical game when we play later in the season.

Wow, what a terrible and undeserved win. We were absolutely inept on offense for 50 minutes of the game, and then had a couple flukey scoring drives at the end to steal this one.

That left a bad taste in my mouth. Time to redo the GP for next week

Surprised to win this one. The offense was moving the ball well and the defense played lights out in the first 3 quarters. We lack talent on defense so I'm not going to expect this kind of performance often.

I'm still happy about the game. Some big plays on both sides of the ball.

GG Boss, see you later in the year.

Warthog faitful were feeling good. Even after the Lynx took a late lead after Alberts 3rd pick of the night. Because the Warthogs were on the march and were looking at the go ahead TD too win with not much left on the clock. Then Schwartz threw his 4th INT. Hard too win when the team is -4 in TOs.

BuddaKing gets the credit as Anchorage did not turn the ball over and waited for Fresno too blow up late.

Can't win a championship in september, but one can be lost. arrguuuuuh!

Good game Jave. We hung in there until halftime, but the start of the 3rd Q was a nightmare (I've seen that before). Yeah, I seemed to see a lot of Tennyson mentions in Solevision. My offense just continues to be pretty sad. Scott seems to pack it in if you get any pressure on him...kind of like Orton.

If I look at it from a glass half full perspective, I got 2 INTs from my starting LCB against a great QB and my 1st rounder OLB Clemons also got an INT and seemed to be pretty active. Just gotta figure out some way to generate some offense. We'll let the Assassins have their limelight for now, payback is coming week 8.
