We beat Norfolk. QB play was shabby.

Denning looked very well for his first game, granted it's only pre-season. I can't wait to see how he'll look with Deforne and Levine hopefully giving him some space to move.

Tried a new offensive gameplan. Didn't work as well as I'd hoped. Will tweak a bit and try to blow out Jave tomorrow

Don't want to tell you what to do, but doesn't it make more sense to play the starters now so that they have 2-3 weeks to heal should they get hurt?

Upon further review Chicago isn't very good. Key notes -

Starting LT goes down 3 plays in and rookie LT Ernie "Mt" Jamison comes up big with 4 KRB
RB's Fletcher, Johnstone & Tanner rush 30 times for 164 yds 7 10+ and a TD
CB Strong 1 int + 1 sack; Game MVP
15 play 90 yard TD drive features 2 QB's Rookie FB Sotiroff catches 3 passes and records a KRB on the drive

Like you did with Mario Gurley? haha

Gurley would have been awesome had he not gotten that huge injury. He was on his way to being a 65+ rated QB. And for the record, he went up +4 in future rating even considering the injury. I still expect him to end up in the high 50s and be a solid backup.

Troutman had another solid preseason game. He will end up as one of the better QBs in this league, I think. I'm a little annoyed with the playing time. I set Harding at a 7 and he only threw 12 passes.
