So since I'm on my spare computer, I uninstalled the old FOF and reinstalled 6.4. Only, I notice it didn't place the game in C:\Documents and Settings\your user profile\Application Data\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\.

Any advice? Will the game still work if it's in program files still?

I dont run XP anymore but I think you can have your exe in program files while your league data should be in docs and sets...

The GAME (frfoot.exe etc) does not go into that folder, the DATA-FILES do (i.e. the league files).

For some reason, the install PUT it there. I dunno, maybe I should uninstall and reinstall.

I dunno. I'm stumped. It refuses to install in the application data folder, it just puts it in program files everytime. Maybe I'll just put it on my wifes computer which has Windows 7.

When I upgraded on my other computer it just installed it in both places. I had zero issues. I've tried installing it several times an it won't put the folders in application data no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall. This is interesting.

1 - Install the game as usual, it will install into Program Files.
2 - Start the game up and create a solo league, the data files will be created in Documents and Settings under Roaming, which is a hidden folder.

To access that folder, you have to activate the "View Hidden Files and Folders" in Windows.

It's important that when looking for the Application Data folder, you look under the "right" user. For example, on my vanilla XP-installation that I run under Parallells on a Mac, my Solecismic files are under Administrator, but I have two more users - "Default user" and "All Users".

Once again though, the Solecismic folder under Application Data is not created until you have started the game and created a league.

So I put the game on the wifes computers, Windows 7 an I've been sitting here for 2 hours trying to figure it out. I have no clue. Looks like whoever I play gets a pass this week.

FINALLY found the game folders under wifesname/appdata/roaming. whatever the fuck roaming is.
