Maybe it isn't the game thats broken maybe it has to do with your players.Originally posted by Jave View PostPenn showing their still the best team in the league, and further proof, using football logic to create a gameplan does NOT translate to FOF at all. Ohh yea, double covering Wolfe 100% of the time has no effect at all. 9 catches, 117 yards and a score.
I haven't been able to watch the game yet however it appears my gameplan was complete garbage and Hamilton is STILL unstoppable. Will look at the details soon.
Regardless, credit to Penn! GG bro. Maybe the rest of the league will have a shot when Hamilton retires!

You're not kidding. That was close! Madison has a very interesting gameplan. Their defense was in 1 deep coverage much of the game - and I thought maybe I could break some big-play passes. But I was too geared toward short-passing, so played right into his hands. Then, on their last drive of the game, down by 7 under 2 minutes left, Madison starting running the ball. Their first gain only covered 5 yds, so I wasn't worried, but then two straight "into the secondary" runs took them to the one yard line when time ran out. It was a sloppy game for both teams, with 2 ints each and lots of penalties. Anyway, a want to take another look at the gameplan, especially the end of the game logic, and see if I can make some interesting tweaks to mine. Especially playing Penn next week, I have the feeling it might be time to roll the dice and bring something unexpected.Originally posted by Argot View PostThe end of the Vancouver game was interesting...19 yard run stopped one yard short of the goalline as time expires.
