Just noticed Harris Garrod is out 3 weeks with an appendectomy. Stupid.

Big play of game came when Warhogs up 7-0 late 1Q force a punt from inside Chicago 10 and take posession at Crusade 48. On 1st down Chicago is in run D and Schwartz drops back too pass and is sacked and stripped and Crusade return ball 16 yards to Fresno 30. Huge change in field position but the Crusade can't capatilize and punt the ball into the EZ
Warthogs begin the 3Q up 10-0 and are driving when Chapman fumbles at the 40, but yet again the Crusade fail to take advantage and punt the ball into the EZ.
Fresno gets 7 points off 1 TO and Chicago got 0 on their 2 TOs probably the difference in the game.

GG TimG. We were very lucky to come back and win this game. Grier had 200 yds passing in the first half! Grier seems a lot better than his OVR.
Our offense continued to struggle - but Scott (the REAL QB named Scott, not that impostor out in Oakland) actually made some clutch throws in the 2nd half - and our defense had a key goal line stop.
Nice to get our first win before heading to Lansing to play our 4th road game to start the season. Good luck down the stretch Tim.

Oh - and congrats Jave, that was a big win against the tough Newark squad.

A few notes from the game:
LDT Leonard Wingfield was a complete nuisance, disrupting ever other play. He's finally starting to play like the 1st overall pick.

QB Dwight "King" Burger doesn't make many mistakes, but that one was huge!

It was another war between our two clubs Matt. Ya got the one last year, it was my turn this year! haha.

i highlighted 2 things for me.
Wingfield was instrumental keeping the running situation in check.
I yelled "fuck me" at the computer when this happened. I do that about 3 times per year. I take my Bulldogs seriously. I have a lot of passion when it comes to these guys. I was geeked for the game, and it did not disappoint.

ARGGH!!! GG Jester. I really thought I had you. and...we almost got that kick return you promised. McNeil managed things well in the first half and had a number of recievers drop 3rd down passes. Just beat by a better team but thought I had a chance to steal one on our home field. I hate Shake and Bake.

GG Argot! It's always a nightmare playing Reno. Fumbles, INTs, penalties, 66 yard KRs... Very happy to pull out the "W".

Phantoms season is going perfect thus far with a 3-0 record and two 1st rounders currently sitting at 0-3 but I know from last season how quickly things can turn around so I'm weary of feeling confident.

Jave I only have one question. Why did you... someone favored to win their division probably still will and I think you believe so too because you went out and over paid for a QB to put a band aid on your current injury issues... Why did you IR donovan whom is expected to be back for the 1st week of the playoffs? I don't know Jave this falls under the normal dumb Jave move.
