Contract question

I am currently negotiating new contracts with Donovan, Wilson and Doyle. Since I am currently going to be slightly over my cap space with the contract offers, which comes first....does the game determine if the player accepts or rejects the contracts BEFORE or AFTER Matt is able to move the players I traded? Will the game outright reject the contracts because I will be over the cap until Matt makes the trades? Anyone know this?

Ahh so I have to wait until the trade is made BEFORE I submit new offers? Ok, got it.

Ok yea, I can do the Donovan contract, but the Wilson contract will CURRENTLY put me over, so I just just submit one.
