League News - Weekly article?

Hey everyone,
I'm toying with the idea of putting out a weekly news bulletin/magazine article starting next season and wanted to gauge interest and see if there were any volunteers to help out?

I've done this kind of thing before in another league and really enjoyed it, but the 2 game a week pace was tricky to keep up with.
The pace here is more much 'editor' friendly.
Also, to keep me interested it needs a handful of maybe 3 or 4 guys to help out and contribute.

I don't envisage anything too flashy or complex.
Just a weekly piece covering a variety of stories across the league:
Player profiles, big game previews/reports, trade news, rookie watch, GM interviews etc etc. I want to spread the love and won't be concentrating solely on the top teams.
I like to use quotes and interviews from other GM's as it gets people involved and makes it more interesting.


It does involve some work, and I don't want to commit unless there is genuine interest and I don't want to be a lone contributor as I'll get bored.

This league used to have some pimpish season previews. It's been many years since the last complete one was done. I always enjoyed reading about what other people thought.

I think this is a great idea - but I'm not sure I can commit to an article per week, maybe one every 2 or 3 weeks.

Had a PM or two as well so thanks to those that have made an early offer of help.

I'm still looking for a couple of others to come aboard, I intend it to be pretty laid back so if guys can't commit to a regular input then I'll take it as and when.

I'm gonna play around with a title, some logos and stuff over the next few weeks, with a view to maybe putting out something after the Championship game.

If volunteers have ideas for articles, feel free.
Otherwise I have a load of ideas and can suggest a theme for individual writers if needs be.

What I'd like to do is collate the pieces into one release on the forum.

Whatever happened to him?? Never heard another peep out of him after he left. He was pretty active here too when he was running Pitt.

think he ended up going to USC to law school or something. With him he took our history of season previews and the TCY parallel universe we were running.
