Good lord, things sure have slowed down around here. Is it safe to say that those who haven't been posting as of late are expecting bad records?

        Yep!

Honestly I expect this season to be much like last season for the Firebirds.

        1. I'd guess 6-10 or 7-9 again riding on our defense; just not enough experience in our receiving corps to do much good.
        2. Cleveland.
        3. Going with the Pirates to repeat.
        4. QB Lyman Shropshire manages to muster a mere 1500 yards out of his receiving corps.

My season hinges on the play of my QB Patrick Williams. He ended last year very strong with a TD to INT ratio of 2:1 and that is exactly what I need from him. Anyway....

          1. Finish the year a few wins better than last 10-6
          2. VooDoo can do it!
          3. West Virginia Beasts win it all
          4. Houston is the most improved team and finish 8-8.
          5. QB Patrick Williams finishes the year with a QB rating of 80+.

Wichita seriously underperformed on the backs of 4 QB injuries. THis year should be different.

              End Season 10-6 or better.

Dethrone Cleveland as div. champ (or at least a WC if CLev has a great sesaon)

No idea who wins it all.

Addition of Granger at QB from OAK makes us a more solid offensive group along with more explosive running from Richardson or new rookie RB.

Our weakpoint at defense should be improved but not sure how much.

                4. Little Rock has a top 3 rushing defense.
                5. Little Rock loses 2 high scoring games to Columbia again.
                6. Brian Dixon is top 5 in rushing yards.
                7. Ralph Given gets over 3,000 yards passing. (Which is a lot more then both my QBs last season)
                1. Wrong, I went 9-7. Close though, and I made the playoffs so I'm happy.
                2. Correct
                3. Wrong
                4. Wrong, my defense was 6th against the run as fr as yards given up goes.
                5. Wrong, I lost 16-10 and won 13-10.
                6. Wrong, Dixon was #12. I never would have thought I would pass so much.
                7. Correct, Given was 2nd in yards passing with 3,927.

                How did everyone else do?

Looks like I nailed my season prediction. Richardson had a great year as a rookie. Granger improved our offense and our QBs were pretty durable. Ended up 10-6 and won the division.

                            Pittsburgh wins the Imperial Bowl
                            1. Wrong. Cartagena was leg whipped early in the season and didn't see Hassler (2 sacks) until the post-season

                            2. Wrong. We went 9-7 -- pretty close to 8-8

                            3. Wrong. NC West crown ended up being a hot potato that Vancouver and Reno kept dropping.

                            4. Wrong. But I really thought the power could make a run for it.
