Big game as we travel to Georgia. We need another Big game from Sanford. Georgia is a streaky team. I need them to stay on the losing side of this streak.

If I can pull this off, it makes this division extremely interesting, with 3 teams possibly at 5-3. I consider this a must win for us. Hopefully our defense can bounce back from the poor outing last week, we stop with the penalties and stop turning the ball over.

      Good luck Tarc.

2-5-VAN30 (4Q: 01:04) Curtis Schneggenburger ran inside the left guard for 4 yards. Tackled by S T.J. Hanks, assisted by OLB Eric Sewick.
        Newark called a time out.
Vancouver: Pro formation with two tight ends, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with goal-line personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the run.
3-1-VAN34 (4Q: 00:57) Harris Lindsay ran inside the left guard for -2 yards. Tackled by DE Arnold Lantz.
        Newark called a time out.
4-3-VAN32 (4Q: 00:47) Marco McNeil punted 35 yards. Juan Carlisle returned the kick 23 yards to the VAN44. Tackled by Darrell Roebuck.
Newark: Strong formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with dime personnel and 3-deep zone coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
1-10-VAN44 (4Q: 00:40) Dwight Burger pass completed to TE O.J. Peltier for 30 yards. Tackled by CB Dennis Stephenson. The receiver ran his route right over the middle of the field. Peltier gained 23 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
Newark: Pro formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with dime personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.

Jamison played like crap today also. Not the type of game I expect to see from him.

Wheeler also continues to just be another guy on the field. Not liking my defense right now.

We dominate Georgia. They are not quite ready for prime time.

Sanford has a great day, as he and Andrews tear up Georgia in the 1st half. We cruised through the 2nd for the win.

The AC South is horrible. Iowa City must look at that division and weep.

gg boston you really kicked our arses. Both Colella (4) and Alexander (2) combined for 6 ints!!! Ouch...we tweaked the off. to more pass but I didn't think it would be that much. Defense didn't do too bad considering they were on the field the whole game...hahaha

Gonna be a long season oh well that will allow me to play around with the game-plan. Alot! Afc playoffs are pretty much decided it looks now...Iwc still has a shot.

                      KEY POINTS:

                      1- Louisiana's Defense

Holy crap. I cannot believe their record. Their D was INCREDIBLE today.

                      2- The walking wounded
Add my star/starting SLB to go with my star/starting MLB to completely deplete my linebacking corp. Ozzy still out.

                      3- The Oddsmakers
I have a feeling this game was a fix. A 4.5 point spread decided by 3 points. My only remaining 'star' D player taken out by a cheap shot in the 1st half. Hmmmm.

                      4- The first 3 drives
                      Interception in the red zone
Lost fumble in the red zone
Sacked in my OWN red zone, fumbled and self-recovered at our 1 on 3rd down.
                      THAT kinda day.

                      5- Next week vs IWC
If you're a betting man, the Cinderella story ends next game. IWC is a 50/50 pick-em game even at FULL strength. I'm not trying to seem negative, but it is as close to a sure thing as I can imagine. This is TOTALLY complimenting IWC, not putting myself down.

6- The re-emergence of DE Brummit
Looks like he took his benching personally. Took FULL ADVANTAGE of his re-assignment into the starting lineup.

More of the same for the Warthogs sunday. Untimley penalties and the deciding points created from a BU RB Fumble at the end of the half.

Kozure's WV clearly the better team

Good game, Kobeck. Nice to come back with a good win after getting our asses handed to us in the second half of last week's debacle in Portland.

I take this back. I have won ONE GAME versus IWC in the last 4 years. 1-7 cements my theory.

This is going to be the defining game for my team this season. If win, our playoff hope stay alive, if we lose, not so much. In the past we had really interesting game and like you wrote IWC usually wins in the end. I really hope that stays that way. ;-)

                              To todays game now.

Houston played very well and almost won. My defense was ok, the pass coverage even good, but couldn't really stop Houston's offense and my offense was good on some drives, very bad on others.
The IWC running game continues to rely on occasional big gains but can't achieve a balanced attack.
