Great defensive stand by Vancouver to end the SLC/VAN game!!!

Castillo had a few long runs against us but we managed to consistently contain him other than that. The "Shake & Bake" connection continues as "Shake" Greene maintains his pace for 2000 yards receiving for at least 1 more game. Glad to walk away with the victory. Reno is a team that historically has gotten turnovers, K/P return TDs, etc... against us.

Apparently God and the Refs wanted us to lose this game... not that God seems to like the Mules much better. Fumble, fumble back, penalty, penalty, fumble, fumble back, blocked field goal, penalty ('Excellent Discipline' my ass!!!) fumble, etc etc.

And apparently both teams had the magic 'double team wand': When you throw into a double team, it will be good for at LEAST a 15 yard completion and a first down.

There was a stretch during the late 3rd/early fourth where I had no less than 39 plays inside his 12 yard line, and could only muster 3 points.

HUGE headache watching this game. Still can't believe the outcome. Good game!

That one was tough to watch. My running game decided not to show up, and the passing wasn't much better. Good thing the defense bailed us out by holding the Cards to a big goose egg.

Man are we ever happy to have Corey Perkins back for next week. We should have almost all of our starters healthy for the first time this season, and I'm itching to see what they can do in Witchita.

Wow, that was a pretty crazy game - which seems to be the norm for Van-SLC. Plenty of turnovers and critical penalties and even a safety - which I thought might come back to haunt us. Anyway, just when it seemed one team was poised to take control something bad would happen to them. Also, one curious coaching decision. Down by 2 with 4 min left, SLC punted from my 34 instead of trying the 51 yd FG. They had already hit a 47 yarder earlier in the game. But we finally ended our 6 game losing streak against SLC. GG Vito and sorry about Edwards.

In a battle of the basement, Wichita snatched a close win over Houston 24-21.
Yeah the game may have more effect on draft order than the standings but it was still an interesting back and forth contest.

The Outlaws enjoyed being on the winning side.....we won't get many chances to celebrate this season.

my running backs finally had a good day. The final score shows a wrong picture though, as the game was closer than the score indicates

Don't let the score fool ya, Orlando has a hell of a team in the making. He completely DOMINATED the defensive line. His run defense is second to none. He stuffed Wilson no matter where he tried to run. The only yards Wilson was able to get on the ground was in trash time. Great F'n D Pirates, WOW.

I'm not saying much more with the back to back games however Matt....It hasn't gone unnoticed you have scored 34, 24, and 44. No worries, I'm not overlooking ya

Yeah. Matt dropped 44 on us. In our other 3 games, we have allowed 15 points total. Watch out for Newark.

We were able to get some big plays offensively to win this one. We've won all three home games this year. Time to see if we can win on the road.
