Team pages.

Ok, some of you may have noticed that the team pages have not been updated for a very long time, since the end of the regular season last year.

The reason for this is because I have spent a lot of time, more then I would have liked because it was a wasted effort, trying to redesign them. I can not come up with a damn thing I like. They seem pointless to me if I can not have stats on there. The problem is without some kind of nice little program I will never have, that would take forever to update every week and I am sure I would not have it done in any kind of timely manner.

So, I am thinking of just getting rid of them.

Not many guys use these that I know of, maybe 5 or 6 at the most I bet. I know several guys have said they like them a lot. I am pretty sure the reason for this is because of the links that lead to all the FOF generated HTML pages, as I have always thought it makes it atleast a little easier to navigate through all that crap and go right where you want to in some cases.

What I have been thinking of doing is keeping that basic layout, and combine it with the "teams page" that is simply a division layout with team names and their owners.

Any other ideas to replace these?

I realize that the owners cannot update the team pages directly so I say if they are more trouble than they are worth then dump them. I use the links from team to team sometimes, but I read the team press in the forum so I say dump'em if they are in the least a pain.

Although I do like the wallpaper on the Mules site.

I think we should find a few templates to use in the press forum and try and do most of the team related stuff from there, alot less work for you and easier for us to do stuff at the drop of a hat if need be.

I think the game HTML output and weekly sports page should be the only thing you have to deal with.

I rarely look at the team pages so if you want to remove them then that's fine with me.
