I mean, If someone pm's or specifically asks me to do something I don't have a problem with it all but there was a year where it sort of felt like the thread was being used as a fallback in case exports weren't sent in and I wasn't real cool with that which is when I made the edict.

But thats why you send them to summer camp. It unmasks them sooner or shows what they will really look like. You are just getting the true look at Dignan.

Well summer league isn't meant to be for immediate effect, but rather a faster development during the upcoming season.

The original idea, according to Jim, was that players who wouldn't get much playing time during the season would be the ones sent to the summer league, and they'd get "experience" during the summer that would help their overall progress that would otherwise come during the season.

No franchise tag....pretty much locked up...no summer league....forgot that...and looks like it might have been a good time with the injuries comin out of there now...

The unmasking isn't instant. I think Dignan will be fine though. I was going to go after him if I hadn't pissed away two 1st rounders on CBs the off-season before.

Also, I've had a lot of players drop 1-2 since season's end. I think it might just represent that most people slack after the season while a mere few work all year round (the creepers).

I'll tell ya "Why Bother" My boy Artie gained 17 points in current and 3 in future. I sure wonder what would have happened had I not sent him to Summer league. Only 2nd to Doyle in future. These are the lucky and rare happenings that keep me playing this game.
