Newark is deceptively stacked on defense this season. Tonight's game is going to be tough and even with a victory there's a reasonable chance for a round 3 later in 2016...

This game seems to me to be extremely random. Hey, I know alot of ya have very consistent, working gameplans and "get it". That's not me. Win or lose, it's chaos theory. I just throw shit against a wall and sometimes it sticks, most of the time it doesn't.
I would love to pat myself on the back but the truth is, I probably got lucky. No such luck this week however, Tulsa will surly smack me down to earth. WOW, how do I possibly defend all of those weapons? Reminds me of the Patriots of a couple years ago. You stop one, 3 more are waiting.
I get blown off the planet this week....not a big shock there. Another random, I have no clue what to do week. And to top it off, it looks like I'm already looking forward to the draft.

Jave you were beating me badly for about 2 1/2 quarters. But your QB got careless and I busted a couple plays. I feel lucky to have won at home.

                GG Jave.

I am terrible in the Red Zone. It will be the death of me.

Phantoms avenge the Week #1 catastrophe with a sound victory over our fiercest rivals! Dwight Burger might've had his worst game yet with a 29.4 passer rating.

If it wasn't for the Tulsa Beatdown earlier this season I'd now be confident that the Phantoms can play with the NC's best...

Cardinals fumble opening KO, but recover. It was an ominous and telling beginning. Cards make a mental mistake inside Fresno 20 and a Warthog SAC on second down makes it 3rd and goal at the 30 for the Cards. Fresno makes the pick and goes on to drive for a TD. Cards Fumble the ball away on the next posession, but Warthogs unable to capatilize and score remains 7-0 Fresno. St. Louis flipps the field with a good punt and a horrible PR by Rookie return specialist Ross. The Warthog PR penalty and Schwartz's turf toe acting up was just an added bonus for Fresno - lol
After an exchange of punts a nice drive by Lara and the Warthogs make score 14-7 inside 2mins 1st half.
Bazooka Barlow leads St. Louis on a nice drive himself, but the Cards run out of time and kick the FG making score 14-6 Fresno at the half.
Warthogs go 3 and out to start the 3Q giving St. Louis 1-10 midfield early 3Q. A Redzone INT stopps the Cardinal threat. Fresnos has a long FG drive making score 17-6 mid 3Q. Barlow and the Cards answer with a fine drive making it a 1 posession game early 4Q with the Warthogs up 17-9. Fresno gets ball and goes on a long 4Q drive that sees Oskenberg kicking a 42 yard FGA to make it a 2 score game, but Karl continues his bad season with a miss. Cards have another chance to tie the game, but go 3 and out because of 2 WR Hickman drops - Suicane had to have hated that! Warthogs get another long drive this time Karl Oskenberg lines up a 28 yarder and it is good. Fresno 20 Cardnials 9 with 1:07 left. Barlow leads Cards on a late drive and the Cards fumble again just to make the point about what the difference was in the game. Final Fresno 20 Cardinals 9

Definatly the Cards 3 TOs cost them the game. Fresno got all 20 points off 4 trips to the RZ, Cardinals only got 6 points from their 4 trips to the RZ

gg Suicane. Bazooka Barlow looks to be the real deal.

Chris, I was really nervous about this game before kickoff and stayed in that state of mind until the 4th quarter.

WHAT A SMASH MOUTH BALL GAME! OUCH, I am still hearing those nasty hits. Seems like both of us anticipated each other's offensive game plans pretty well and the defensive teams called the shots.

Sorry about Delcorio -- I have a mash unit myself and will enjoy the week off to mend some fences.

Needed this win to go into a bye week. Good luck in your division... you have one hell of a good team and are playing in a hell of a good division.

Time for Fogarty to move on as he just can't get us points on the board. Stupid ill-timed penalties also killed us as well. Very frustrating season.

Your good sportsmanship takes the edge off. It was a good game, and you deserved to win, hands down. That being said, I am now going to add my 2 cents to Javes retirement thread...

Teddy Lara is an unhappy camper as Albert "Bad Toe" Schwartz apparently got a Mississippi mud compost and the Turf Toe is HEALED!
