Week #5 Discussion

The Situation was wrapped up today.
Orlando had what seemed like 20 guys in the box. There was one point in the 3rd qtr where Jamison had 3 or 4 carries of negative yards. We couldn't stop Meuller or the Orlando running game. Really, the only reason we won is because of turnovers. I'm going to need to be creative with Jamison at this point. Orlando proved that he can be shut down. When teams gamble on the run, we need to be able to pass on them.

The clock issue is gonna be huge. I sincerely hope Jim fixes this. I don't know how/why this changed in the patch. I watched the ending of 2 other games after mine, and in both situations the teams should've/could've used time outs. I don't understand it.

My running game sucks. Glad I could win, but running ball is not something we are very good at this year, nor is red zone offense.

Not calling timeouts was very weird for your team. definitely not as it is supposed to be.

Very good game Matt. We did take a lot of good from this. I think we finally have an offensive gameplan I can use with Mueller and company. We went after Jamison with all we had and he still managed a 26 yard TD run in the 3rd that ended up being the game. Our two lost fumbles hurt but not as much as your 8 minute 13 play drive in the 4th. It ended with you throwing a pick but we could only manage 2 possessions the entire 4th quarter. That sealed the deal.

Reilly really struggled the first two weeks, but when we finally told him to just tackle whoever has the ball and disregard the coverage, everything seemed to click for him.

I never had this problem either, until now ... left two time outs on the table that easily could have been used this game.

A good solid game that could have gone either way ... very evenly played IMO ... but the ball went your way at the end for the win ... that 45 yarder to Markel broak my heart. Liked what I saw from my recent WR pickup, Newman. GG, you have a good team and it may not be the last time we see each other this year.

We spot the Mules 17 and lose by three. Our third down conversion rate sucks and I'm at a loss as to why we're not that efficient at stopping third and long on the defensive side...we're good on the first two possessions, but we keep getting beat long. Heartbreaking.
