    2016 Suicide Pool - Pick the Loser

    In the spirit of Mr. Biggs

    Quote:

    1) Each week you pick a team who you think will win, straight up (i.e., NOT against the spread)

    2) More than one GM can pick the same team in any given week. (i.e., if I pick Pittsburgh, you can still take Pittsburgh)

    3) You may not pick the same team twice in the season. (i.e., if you pick Pittsburgh to lose to Madison this week, you can not choose Pittsburgh for the rest of the season).

    4) If the team you picked wins you are out of the pool.

    I'll tabulate everything on a spreadsheet, but make your picks here in this thread in public. Any attempt to cheat, especially with my wife, who is a dirty, dirty tramp, and I am just gonna snap.

      Is rule 3 worded correctly? It seems to me that since we're picking losers it would be Madison (the projected loser) that couldn't be chosen again as opposed to Pittsburgh (the projected winner).

              I am picking the COLTS ... oh sorry , and the wrong pool .... I guess I'll change my pick that to Hartford.

              Needless to say, I have gotten nothing done for the last week or so except talk about the Saints. Just posted my gameplan against the Dragons. I didn't know if I would get any quality time with all the goings on here in the Big Easy ... so it is a done Pecan.

              Hoping that the "real" game on Sunday will be the game of the century as the "Saints Go Marching In" to the promised land.

                You gotta be soo excited r00k!
                I gotta admit, I think I'm rooting for the Colts. Been a fan of Manning for a long time.
                At the same time, I love Reggie Bush. Bush to me is an amazing football player and likely doesn't get the respect he deserves because he is Reggie Bush. Drew Brees is also phenomenal. Seeing this guy develop from what he was in SD to where he is now is amazing. The only reason I'm leaning towards the Colts is due to my dislike of Gregg Williams. I can't stand that guy. In his first yr as HC in Buffalo he said his goal in yr 1 was the superbowl. I think they won 3 games. I also don't like that headcase Anthony Hargrove. He got in so much shit in Buffalo. I do like Jabari Greer though.

                Either way, it's gonna be one hell of a game.

                  I dont know who to root for. I like both teams players. Probably the Saints players meaurx. But, like Matt, I like watching Manning. And I like watching Brees.
                  I guess Im hoping for a 50-45 game with the last score coming with :03 on the clock.

                    The Homegrown Colts (not many from other teams, so we didn't inherit their mistakes) should win....I watched that ugly assed game between the Saints and Vikings, and don't think any one of those teams could get away with those kind of turnovers against the Colts.

                      I hope Williams hits Manning while he is still comming out of the tunnel and keeps hitting him till he is boarding the team plane.

                      I am scrambling trying to get some OT for sunday night - thats how much confidence I have in the Saints taking care of business. But at lesat the Saints can score so they got a shot.
