In case there is any urge to talk preseason games....

I know my #3 wr had 170 yards receiving today with his first start....

      Surprising win for me

FB Quentin Alicea did a good job with 89 yds in 14 carries and the winning TD, enough to earn him the starting RB job.
SE Edward Torres was on fire : 11 catches, 149 yds, 1 TD.
and rookie QB Darrell Wilson was decent in his first start 9/13 89 yds.

That FB should make a pretty decent RB, and that could be a big help for your team....

New game plan for a new year. Is it obvious how the Killer Whales plan to run their offense this year? I modeled our team's offense after the 13-1 Pittsburgh Steelers - hopefully we'll get the same result!

                  FS kaz

FS Kazmarek who I got for a 6th rounder had 10 tackles, and INT and a QB hurry while only allowing one reception! No injuries and a W. Couldn't be happier except for Latham's two Int's.

Combined my top 2 QBs were 24/31 for 286 yards 2 TDs and 1 pick.

My RBs went for 193 yards on 40 carries for a 4.8 YPC. My top two RBs were at 48 and 4.7 YPC. The only problem with the running game was the fumble on the LR 7...

My big fear is turnovers. My turnovers led to 10 LR points.

Defensively I had 4 sacks, only gave up 3.8 YPC, but one of my young CBs gave up 6 catches, 2 of which went for more than 50 yards.

My team found a way to lose to Fresno in OT. My rushing YPC is brutal again. I'm sitting most of my players who are any good and playing the youngsters.
I wish I had more time for tinkering with the gameplans. With 3 kids(1 newborn), Christmas, and a family member who was almost lost, free time is an issue.
This is now my second multiplayer season and I've got a few problems to fix. I'm hoping that I can gameplan my team to perform better than the mediocre team that they've been playing like.

Thos are good numbers, but you have to think that I have starters sitting too.

My defensive line had 2 of the 4 starters, and those are the young guys with current ratings of 30 and 59. The 83 and 81 guys sat.

My LB's were all my normal starters since they do have some learning still left to do, and I am not sure what to do about my WLB spot yet.

My DBs did not have one normal starter. You faced guys rated 24, 26, 24 and 30.

Not to mention I had a not so good gameplan for the defense since I didn't adjust it at all for your team.

I am not trying to defende my defense here, just saying that you should try not to read TOO much into preseason numbers.
