  • Question about a Kicker

I spent 2 hours on special teams this TC. Uppoing it from 1 1/2 hours. My kickers kickoff distance bar is 89. Yet he cinsistently kicks off 59 yards. Any ideas?

Could just be a false bar. I had a kicker in another league that had a 75 in kicking accuracy but consistently missed around half of his field goal tries. Sometimes your scout is just plain wrong about someone.

Not debating what you've said but just pointing out that when it comes to accuracy our own gameplan settings are HUGE. I've always had high accuracy stats on my kickers simply because I don't kick long FGs and conversely I've seen kickers with bad stats but great bars and after doing the research I see a high percentage of 50+ yard tries, which obviously bring down the accuracy stats.

Regarding kickoffs: I've given up. 59 yards is a good kick IMO.

He will make a 55 yard FG then kickoff 59 yards. It doesnt make sense.
I guess it could be a false bar. But with the way Special teams are so unrealistic in this game, a 59 yard kickof average will spell doom.
