Alan, we've spent weeks dissecting every facet and matchup of this game. Within the next 1 1/2 hrs, all of that goes out the window and the players will just play.
What does each team need to do to win?
Who will be more successful and win this game?

West Virginia comes here for the 2nd straight year. They've been through this already and have that experience. Last years win against Texas was very impressive as they were led by their stud QB Deron Markel. They have a terrific defense that has the front four led by breakout LB Michael Cibella. Cibella has led this defense all season long. Cibella is flanked by DE Andrew Kinney who also had a break out year amassing 15.5 sacks.
On offense is where it happens for the Beasts. They have Markel at QB and a slew of weapons at WR. Nicky Kersey is the RB coming off consectutive 1000yd seasons rushing.
In order for WV to win, they must continue to pass the ball to where they want to. Look for a couple of big pass plays to Jimmy Roberts.

Tulsa comes into the big game after a long road. The Tigerhawks are a team that was simply built to win the Imperial Bowl. They drafted their key weapons and depth and traded for the missing pieces. On the defensive side they are built to stop the pass. Duane Edwards was traded for just before the deadline this year. He's gone on to have not only his best season, but the best season of any DB this season. Put Oliver McKenzie on the other side and you have yourself a pass defense. Walter Fitzgerald is the leader out there making tackles at both the line of scrimmage and making big plays in the secondary.
Tulsa is an offensive machine. Great QB, Great RB, 2 Great WR's, and a little known TE is had a remarkable year. What it really comes down to is both Sanford and Singleton. They make this offense click, and with the defensive makeup, it makes them tough to beat.
So who do I think is going to win?

It's Simple. Being a RB, I always tend to look at that matchup. DH Singleton has proven to me and the rest of the world that he's the best we've seen.......ever. DH will set the pace of the entire game by dominating the play clock keeping the Tigerhawks on the field and the clock burning. Sanford will likely get the MVP, because the QB's always have to be the center of attention, but it will be all Singleton.......all day.
