Actually the team that I thought should've won got beat in the conf finals and the team that I thought was just good enough to make the playoffs won it all.

That's why I don't believe in "spiking talent" to try to win in any given year but rather try to consistently have enough talent to just get there.

Ten seasons as a Wild Card gives you a better shot at a title than 2-3 as the league's best regular season team.

I've had the Trojans for 7 seasons. The owner before me gutted the team for draft picks and I reversed some of that with the trade for Gomez. I drafted Watt the next year and the team hasn't looked back.
