with the new database we've kind of messed with what has been the norm for the past 5 yrs.

how do we want to do this?

Currently Vic posts the game previews and we roll the discussions all in that thread.

with the new system, Vic posts the previews and then posts a new thread with the results. The reason being is that we don't want to give away results to people until they are ready to see it.

So.........

I'd like some feedback as to how we as a league would like to see it done. Personally, I like all the game discussion to go in 1 thread. I can go to one place and get the juice. I can have Vic wait to post the results in the same thread until after a specific time, or immediately following the games. Everyone will just have to know that if they visit that thread after 11am on sunday's there could be spoilers in the thread.

My preference, one and the same thread. Easy to find all related stuff for a single game. I always download the game and watch it before hitting the threads anyway ..... so, that would work for me.

I like the idea of Vic updating the original post with results once the games are simmed. I know exactly when the games are played (and I also see the Week X done in the latest posts), so this wouldn't be any problem at all to me.

Also, the spoilers will appear anyway in the discussion thread as soon as someone has watched the games.

I would like the results posted with a spoiler tag. I watch the games first, then go to the threads.
Post all post game talk in the results thread.

To me, it makes sense that if there is a post that says "week x games done" that there will be spoilers in the discussion thread. I can ask Vic to post a title in the discussion thread, or pre post "spoiler".

I'd rather he post the results in the preview thread, maybe after 12 or something, gives people an hour to wake up and watch the games. If they are reading the thread after 12, they're going to get spoilers anyway, so a warning won't be needed imo.

The probability of spoilers has always existed after the games have been simmed regardless of any of this.
