Crap, I can't believe I got so many rushing yards. Must have been the lead that kept my RB getting the ball so much, because I actually backed off the run in a few places this week....

Well, I'm back in the hunt again.

We were fortunate that Taylor's two INT's didn't do us in. Blain is now a premiere back in the league after rushing for 127 yards on 26 carries including a 13 yard TD. Our defense is once again letting us down as we could not get pressure on Cartagena. Defensive line is something I'm going to have to address in the offseason.

Damn. The rookie Carlton Quinn is running this offense very well and has out played Booker. I'm going to use the same game planning strategy when he returns. Also discovered that Gomez plays better when he starts with his idol Gerald Plant. Now he makes catches

More freakin' injuries. I lose my starting backfield last week and this week I lose my backup RB. Also I lose my only good OL left. Now I have my only 3 good OL hurt :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:
I hate this game. Oh well.......Burlington comes to Jersey next week. Hopefully our D can win us another one.

The Pirates win a big one. The difference between 1-3 and 2-2 is mind numbing. I was a trigger pull away from changing up the QB when he threw 5 picks against the Phantoms. Hynes came back into favor by going 20 of 28 with 3 TD's and no picks. Nice turn around.

Just read the game log and my team had 13 penalties for 120yards. Holy shit!!!
This is done in one game and the previous three combined we had only 7 penalties for 60yards!!

I attempted exactly 5 passes to my WR's all day.
I had 1 pass for 35 yards, all other passes combined.....about 40 yards

I don't think my gameplanning worked very well

Geez....

I average 5.5 YPC to their 2.8, outgain them 323 to 275, but lose the game. I fumble on my 6, which they punch in, miss a FG on my next drive. Then give them the ball on my 37 after a punt, which they turn into a FG. Done in by special teams, and two drives stalling at their 9 yard line. :angry:

On the flip side, just need to tweak the red zone offense a bit.
