It is interesting that this site provides different point spreads and projected winners than what we post. For instance, Sui is a 3 point fav for this week against me and I am the favorite in our thread.

It is interesting that this site provides different point spreads and projected winners than what we post. For instance, Sui is a 3 point fav for this week against me and I am the favorite in our thread.

I have my own power rating formula that is included, and the point spreads are based on it. From what I can tell, I don't give quite as much credit for SOS as Jim does. My system holds up fairly well once you get a few weeks into the season. It's not an embarrassment or anything.

Little Things To Know About The Site/Setup

UNAVOIDABLE QUIRKS

• "Illnesses" (not injuries) will not show up properly on the team pages (http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...e.php?teamid=5). They are uncommon enough that I thought I'd still make an attempt to show current injuries. The link to the SoleInjury Report is there to verify that the ones I am showing are correct:

SoleInjury Report

• The "all-time record" on team pages is only for FOF2K7. However, playoff appearances, conf titles, and bowl wins are correct.
• Pre-FOF2K7, the box scores are wonky for now because of bad data. This will be fixed eventually. Fixed.
• Some career leaders/totals are wrong because of bad data for 2011 season. This will be fixed by the end of the weekend. Fixed.
• When a player is traded after the regular season has started, he'll show up on the original team, not the team traded to.

LITTLE FEATURES I LIKE THAT YOU MIGHT NOT NOTICE EASILY

• Ratings color-coding on Team Roster (http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...r.php?teamid=5)
• If you click on the total number of pro bowl appearances from a player page, it takes you to a list of all multi-pro bowl guys, with the guy's card you clicked from highlighted: http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...p?playerid=115 and http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...p?playerid=115
• On the weekly mini-previews (http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...n/previews.php), if you click on the descriptive text (marquee, worth watching, etc.), you get a detailed preview of that game.
• If you click on a category fro single game, single season, or career records, you get a list of the top 100 in that category. Example: http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...amerecords.php then http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...cord=passyards
• Columns headers are sortable on some pages, and I don't always note it on the page. Try it out. If there's an obvious one that needs to be sorted, let me know and I can add that fairly easily. It's just two lines of code to add it.
• On QBs' player pages, nearly all of the career totals are links. Click on career passing yards, and it takes you to a list of the career passing yard leaders, with the guy whose page you came from having his name bolded and in large type.
