Well, starting the season 1-1 after two road games. I'll take that. Now I get to enjoy four of my next five at home and hopefully make some serious strides at a playoff spot.

We beat Houston 34-18. We jumped out 21-0 and then let DH take us home.

        GG SteveBs

Happy with my start. Defense playing well. Offense very efficient.

Good game Portland. I was impressed with my team all around this week. We did what I wanted to and we had quite a comeback in the 4th quarter. Gary Jamison gettin jiggy seein daylight all day long.

Good game, Kozure. Those back-to-back KR TDs were crazy!

Harvey Ingle is playing at a very high level already!!

Must be heartbreaking to have a potential tying TD pass being intercepted on the 4-yard line and returned for a TD.... But I take the win any way I can.

Virgil is looking SHARP this year.. no INTs in two games and 4 TD passes today. I think he's finally got some receivers and getting some protection at the same time from the line. He's had some tough years behind him.

I'm also very happy about first rounder Gene Sullivan.. Up 4 rating points already... He sure looks like the real deal. 6 tackles and two hurries in his first two pro games. Passrush wins games.

Yeah, I'm disappointed with my kick coverage teams. We are nowhere near where we were last year. We dominated in special teams then and was a major reason we won it all. I think I have the best special teams roster in the league, too. Not sure what the problem is, but we haven't looked too great all preseason either. I just don't think that it's a fluke anymore. We are just sucking.

                  0-2 and not looking good.

These guys have two weeks left to make a statement or they are getting kicked out of Boston.

Ugh, got stomped on by a much better team, didn't really expect otherwise. I think my QB converted more on 4th down than 3rd down, and that's not a good sign.

Good game Penn. I knew we'd struggle with Patterson (due to lack of cohesion) so his 3 ints and all the holding penalties didn't help, but I thought I'd give him a shot to see what he could do with alexander injured. Alexander will be starting next week by the looks of it.

Defense had some ints and sacks early but couldn't take advantage. Penn wrs and rb kruse finally wore us down in the 2nd half. Not a good game by the defense especially on third down. Oh well the AFC hasn't started out like gangbusters so we have alot of time to improve and correct some things...big game vs. Wv next week so I hope we show up.

We are happy with the win but more interested in our young player development.
Hondo's ratings goes up another point with a come from behind win. He began as a 32 as a rookie and is now at 40. Other youngsters are creeping too.

But the story on offence was 2nd string RB Fleming who had a great game with his two long TD runs.

Good game Orlando ... you were in this one all the way to your last possession.

Madison D was in Warthog backfield all day long making it tough on Schwartz. Madison passed early and ran when they wanted too late. Score was not indicative of how badly Fresno was dominated.

A solid win by Oakland but I see alot of room for improvement. Wic took us out of our game early by forcing us into the pass which Donovan and company handled quite well. Wilson's 125yds rushing is a bit deceiving though, Wic played the run TOUGH many times stopping us for a loss or no gain. Wilson was able to break a couple 15 yarders late in the game or his stats would no have looked so solid. Despite the score, their defense is better then it looked today and I expected a bit more.
Still some tweaking to do with Sepulveda and crew up next week. This is going to be one of the toughest games of the year. Defending the pass has never been Oakland's strength and this will be a big test as to how competitive we are this season.

still can't believe how disappointed I am right now with my team. I saw some things I'd like to change on defense. Far too many plays being completed into double coverage and then some YAC after that.
Man, I can't shake this damn loss

                                edit

freaking Jose Hoover was brutal today. seemed like he caught nothing that was thrown his way. I'm not sure what to do with him, I don't want to over react too much. That said, something has got to give. Poor performance is just not acceptable.
Rookie WR Jessie Lucas was pretty good again.
