When are the next games? I've been wanting to sail the world lately and was wondering if I'd be able to accomplish this before our next export was due.

If my defense could win like that in a reg season game, i'd have a hard-on for a week.

Matt, I think the stage files need to be removed from the uploader. Just a heads up.

                Defending Champs knocked us silly.

I'll post the good points of today's game for the Phantoms below:

Ugh. Two players out with the same hyperextended knee... one being my high priced 1st round OG. I play 20 backups and the ONE GUY I dont want to get hurt gets hurt. This game hates me :-)

Oh yeah we kicked Tulsa ass. They didn't have a chance...

lmao just being sarcastic...Singleton would of kicked our arses.

I did like some of the stuff we did though so maybe we'll be a little better than last year.

The youngsters played better this week. Rookie QB Norman Barlow played well, but he needs to do better if he's to win the starting gig. Franklin getting hurt last week helps his chances though.

WR Brad Harris had a nice game. 6 catches 74 yards and a touchdown. My other rookie WR was also impressive.

My most impressive rookie, however, was DT Harris Garrod. He has 1.5 sacks so far in his first preseason. He had a hurry in this game as well but there was a penalty.

LT Frank Russell has also raised eyebrows. He's rated 32/41, but he went up 5/7 after preseason, and I expect that to continue. He will more than likely be our future starter on either the right or left side.

Yesh you did dominate us. My 2nd teamers may need to go and look for jobs in the UFL.

Warthogs were -3 in TOs this week. Drops were down to merly 2. Got a real quandry at BU RB with Roberson showing out somewhat against the Toad starters but he slowed down against the BUs.

Second rain game and second time my O has "slipped" on the wet surface - lol

Oh well will play Chapman for the home fans next week, but it is against 15-1 Lawrence so not expecting much.

First, I want to say we were the beneficiaries of some god awful penalties on Lawrence's side. They were nailed time and time again by some crappy penalties that screwed with drives and scoring chances, especially two back to back holding calls that helped hold the Phantoms to a field goal.

Second, Phantoms defense came to play in the first quarter. Markel struggled a bit at first, but he usually comes on strong after some early jitters, as he did. If an opponent doesn't take advantage of our bad offensive start, it can really come back to hurt them. Eventually everything started clicking for us and we were able to take over the game.

Third, the Phantoms kicked our special teams' ass. I need to go in and retool a little bit. I hate seeing 30+ yard returns against us, and Lawrence was doing it time and time again.

Fourth, Markel bounced back with a very good game. Same with Harding. I have a feeling that Harding will see a crapload of work this year. Markel didn't really do much to make me feel that he is a durable starter. So we will see if me keeping Harding was the smart move.

Good game Jester. Don't be too pissed at your team. They played great. Those penalties were just brutal.

Speaking of the penalties: I had never even seen "fair catch interference" in FOF before last game.

And I think those back-to-back holding penalties actually set up a blocked FG, didn't they?

I'm not pissed at all. I got beat by the defending Champs and in pre-season, either of which are very acceptable.
