Who else was at the live initial allocation draft we had? I remember when we finally quit there was only about 3 owners left and Cring. The first 3 years were brutal but I remember I got some bad ass picks. Jeff warned me I wouldn't be able to afford all those stud rookies but DAMN, I couldn't help myself!! LOL

I was there until the end of the initial draft and pushed for more picks. We ended up going to an 11th round (I think) where I picked last years Legend of the Game, Eldon Munford.

Though the "2003 draft" talk was definitely overblown in recent seasons I remember seeing the first IFL file and thinking how screwed some teams were, including mine, based on about 80% of the roster being PC chosen. FOF 2K4 drafted in "waves" and I believe no kicker was taken until the 52nd pick and no punter until the 53rd regardless of how much better they were than the rest.

I hand picked Matthew Myer so I just checked since he retired this year...round 11...and if I remember correctly he was my last live pick so your right on the money!!

i missed the draft and ended up with a RT making $8 mil yr and guarnteed $20mil drafted 8th round....his ratings......38/38

My name is Jester Blaze and I hereby give notice that my team, the Lawrence Phantoms, has been accepted into the IFL, preferably the NFC East.

Whether it be via live selection, preference or forum draft I promise to feature a defensive minded team so any GMs with ideas of a 4000 yard QB or a 2000 yard RB would do best to choose another division.
