Ok, this wasn't just a crappy season for my team, but myself as well. It really sucked because despite my teams problems I was really into things, much more then the previous two seasons, even when I was sitting at 0-4. Then Vista started doing weird things to me....
1. I told you all before how I was having problems with the game. I think it came down to something weird happening every time I downloaded new league files, it would mess up all my game files for some reason. I would have to start moving everything around and back again just to get things to work, sometimes uninstall and reinstall the game. After a couple times of this happening within 7 days it really just killed things for me and I pretty much stopped bothering except maybe once after that.
2. Some other programs started to give me some fits.
3. Everything slowed down, web browsers big time but overall as well. I would be fine for 15 seconds, and then everything would freeze for 5 seconds. Started to drive me insane just trying to browse and I started using my phone more to get on the inkernets.
So, I am now running Ubuntu/Linux 9.04 for my operating system. It has taken me some getting used to, and tinkering and playing around, but I frickin' love it. And today I was able to get FOF installed (fairly easy actually). Just in time for one game.
And the offseason, which was the main goal.
