Throw in some unforeseen horrible starts around the IFL and maybe I should've taken Max Boyd, OLB after all!
I know Sante would have ridden the pine in Fresno, still George got a deal when he acquired Sante for a couple of late picks in three years.

I had that issue in recent seasons with double coverage and went with "If double coverage don't work then don't do it" and had... well I'll just describe it as minimal lack-of-success which was better than watching the opposing QB beat up on double teams all day which I'd describe as maximum lack of success.

My thinking was that if two of my DBs weren't equal to one quality defender then maybe - hopefully - one of them would be better than nothing on what would otherwise be a wide open player.

I thought you were crazy at the time but injuries shake up the landscape in football so we'll see now, though he's got quite a jump to make it into consideration for DROY.

I feel bad for Jave in our game. Penalties, fumbles, sacks all went my way. We continue to run Rambo to success. Dwight Burger loves him a running game. I just love my WR corps too. Nothing fancy ratings wise, but they just get it done!
I flipped over to the SLC - LAW game. Nice little OT tilt there.

So when you look at the NC east you have an overall record of 15-3. word!!

Speaking of records. We have played the toughest schedule, record-wise, this season. Teams I have played are a combined 16-8 and thats with an 0-5 Little Rock team. Next up is an improving Dakota team.

It was a good game ... the better team won. Not even a question. The Vipers have a lot of issues and they are getting exposed one by one.

Kinney was in my backfield all day long. Hell, I was waiting for Lozier to make a handoff to him. K, you got a solid team. I am not sure the Vipers will be too competitive this year.

Haha. Are you talking about our quiet little 3 game winning streak?

I finally found out that Torres can not see out of his right eye. I was lining him up on the RDT and he disappearing in games. He came back a little bit this week at the LDT spot. He got .5 a sack and some tackles and hurries. I think Torres is starting to get back to last years press. He was really wounded by all the negativity.

Our pass rush specialist Roosevelt Peterson is still making me hope. He is up to 2.5 sacks in 5 games. Not great, but he is getting better each week.

My defense is so fucking awful and I can't figure out why:

                        SLC put up 35, Cal 30, Pitt 42, and New 34. WOW!! LOL, WTF? I'm so lost.....It's going to be a L O N G year!!

yeah, but even though I won by a nice margin, I didn't really pull away until late. I was kind of anticipating one of Lozier's patented Norfolk vs. Beasts comebacks. Thankfully, it never happened.

I feel your pain. The only upside I can find is there is no downside too trying things out. Clearly, as far as Fresno is concerned, coach REX sucks. Will be trying things on D gameplan wise hoping too find something. On the otherhand only about 5 of the 20+ guys on Fresnos D are worth two handfuls of crap so there is only so much lipsitick too put on this pig.
