Bad game by Albriktsen and 4 dropped passes spell doom for Tulsa.
This a tough stretch of games and stupid mistakes cannot happen.

Ugh, I really choked in the 2nd half with tons of dumb penalties, and my defense seemed to have gone home. Oh well, GG MattSteve Beans - Houston Renegades

The Bulldogs stayed tough in this one and took advantage of some big plays on offense. We basically cranked up our defense in the 2nd half hold the Renegades to only 3 pts. Donald Hasting is a beast. We couldn't stop that guy in the first half. C.J. Rambo was solid enough again. He got better as the game went on and for the 2nd week in a row he knocks out 25+ carries. I can only imagine what a real RB would do behind the Bulldog offensive line.

SLC is explosive both sides of the football again--2 first rounders for the QB was a sacrifice for sure but if this guy plays like this all year I'm going to set at QB for the next 8 seasons
***Rookie RB Maxwell REALLY is a good running back Jave---he avg'd 7.0 yards a carry again in this game

So, the moral of the story is this:
Do NOT try to squeeze some experience points by having your third string, rookie, injured QB hold for Field goals. It SHOULD have cost me the game...
Im going to have to have a serious talk with my WRs.. they were essentially shut out today after having a great outing last week.
The FARVE to GIVENS comparisons are dead on: Both traded in their twilight, both capable of great plays and of weekly, maddening ones (an ill advised INT last week, and a costly fumble when he should have simply been handing off).
Lucky to get out of this one with a win...

I can't complain too much, my team played fairly well. The late INT didn't even give up points so I can't point to that. Rogers got going this week at QB. Defense wasn't horrible. Just a close road lose against a solid team.Originally posted by DDT View PostWow! Fun game to watch. 37 yard FG breaks a 21-21 tie with no time remaining. The game was very close in all aspects. GG Cringer.
WR Phil Holder has been a very pleasant surprise. Need to get Kim Newman's big play ability involved.
GG DDT, and good luck in a tough division.
They don't look pretty but I am really happy with the players I have. In the prediction thread I said I thought we would get some wins. Close loses may end up stealing some of those away from the Toads, but it's not a bad team at all IMO. Question marks still, but I like them.Originally posted by Matt View Postman, those Toads can still bring it.

My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

GG, Lions.
I'm going to bottle up whatever kool ade that the Vipers have been drinking lately ... and bring it to all the games in the future. Today, I have no complaints on either side of the ball with the exception of a KO return for a TD.
Penn was a good test. Now with two games under the belt, the Vipers seemingly can run or pass. The D has been respectable. Smiling on Easter.
